Ottawa’s GAPC Entertainment enters into its first international option deal for Netherlands format, with Unis TV!
Based on the highly popular pre-teen NTR series from the Netherlands, called The Doctor Corrie Show, Dre Annie (working title) is an entertaining, unabashed, and informative sex education series for preteens (12+). Masturbation, menstruation and setting limits are just a few of the topics covered in this candid and hilarious pre-teen series. Mirroring the NTR format and adapted for French Canada, Dre Annie (working title) will explore puberty and sexuality from a variety of angles and perspectives, using humour, well-founded research (NTR collaborated with the Rutgers Foundation, a Dutch Knowledge Centre, globally recognized and trusted in the field of sex and sexuality), interviews, music and ‘talks with teens’. 'We are delighted to be in development with Unis TV on this important and much needed new project, and excited to be working with NTR on our very first option deal', says Hoda Elatawi, Producer for the series. The project goes into development winter of 2019.
